Kannad & McMurdo EPIRB's
Once again we are proud to offer Kannad EPIRB's. We stock both a Category I (automatic) and Category II (manual) units with integrated GPS and user replaceable battery packs. They are powered using a non-hazardous battery pack allowing us to ship them with ease. Kannad has long been a premier supplier to the commercial marine industry world wide offering superior rugged products with excellent service.
We import these units programmed for US flag vessels. If your vessel is registered elsewhere, we have the in house capability to reprogram a unit to meet the requirements of your flag state.
We also sell the McMurdo brand of 406MHz EPIRB's. These are available in both Category I and Category II units with the option of integrated GPS all with non-hazardous battery packs (but NOT user replaceable battery packs). Kannad Marine is a brand of McMurdo primarily involved in the commercial marine and aviation markets. We have done business directly with Kannad for over 15 years.
